Professor Diana Valentina CERINI

Diana Cerini is Full Professor of Comparative Private Law at the University of Milan-Bicocca, Department of Law. She is a visiting professor at the Université de Luxembourg and has taught in numerous foreign universities. She is the author of books and articles on insurance law, financial services, civil liability and procurement, among others. She has conducted research both nationally and internationally. She is a lawyer registered in the Special Section of the Milan Bar and she was a member of the Financial Banking Arbitrator from 2012 to 2018 upon appointment of the Bank of Italy.

Professor Patrizia BORSELLINO

Patrizia Borsellino, graduated in Philosophy and in Law, is Full Professor of Philosophy of Law and Bioethics at the University of Milan-Bicocca, where he has held, among other roles, those of Director of the Department of Legal Systems, Director of the Master’s Degree in Bioethics and Clinical Practice Law and member of the University’s Ethics Committee. Author of numerous publications on theoretical-legal issues and, above all, on issues at the heart of bioethics and bio-law, she has carried out an intense activity aimed at promoting and disseminating bioethics culture also in non-academic contexts, working within organizations committed to promoting the rights, especially of patients at the end of life. He participated as an expert in hearings before the Committees of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate on bills on informed consent and advance directives on treatment and, during the current legislature, on bills on Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia.

Professor Monica DELSIGNORE

Monica Delsignore (Vercelli, 1974) is full professor of Administrative Law at the School of Law of the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research interests focus on public law, broadly ment, and in particular issues in environmental law, and public regulation of markets even in a comparative perspective.  She is author of three books and numerous articles, in Italian and English, published in national and international Reviews.

Professor Costanza HONORATI

Costanza Honorati is Full Professor of European Union Law at the Milano-Bicocca University, School of Law, where she also holds the chair in Private International Law. She is a lawyer, admitted to the Milan bar and has a strong expertise in the field of Private International Law, in the last years focusing in particular on International Family Law. Her research interests are in the areas of EU Judicial Cooperation, International Family Law, Abduction of Children, Intellectual Property and PIL Law. Costanza has been the Chair of the EJN Working Group on a Guide on Maintenance Obligations. She has been a Member of the EU Expert Group assisting the Commission on the Revision of Regulation No 2201/2003 (Brussels IIa Regulation) and further participated as a member of the Italian Delegation to the EU Council’s Working Group for the final draft of Regulation 2019/1111 (Brussels IIb). She has published and lectures in several fields of Private International Law and EU Law. She is member of several scientific law journals and academic associations and involved in numerous EU-funded Projects. Among the latter in PIL in family matters: Brussels IIa Regulation: from South to East (JUST-JTRA- EJTR- AG-2014); C.L.A.S.S.4EU (JUST-JTRA-EJTR-AG-2016); POAM (REC-RDAP-GBV-AG-2017); AMICABLE (JUST-JCOO-AG-2018); FAMIMOVE (JUST-2022-JCOO ).

Silvia Salardi graduated in Law cum laude with a thesis in Philosophy of Law at the University of Insubria, Como. She holds a PhD in Philosophy of Law from the University of Milan. She spent a three-year post-doctoral period at the ETH in Zurich, Professorship of Environmental Policy and Economics. She is Academic coordinator of the Erasmus+Jean Monnet Module “Emerging ‘moral’ technologies and the ethical-legal challenges of new subjectivities”. She is Scientific coordinator of the Erasmus+KA107 Learning Mobility of Individuals for staff exchange with Brazil. She is coordinator of the International Commission of the School of Law at the University of Milano-Bicocca. She is scientific coordinator of Erasmus+KA131 BIP (Blended Intensive Programme). Her research interests range from analytic-linguistic Philosophy of Law to frontier and traditional issues in Bioethics and Biolaw: human genetics and environmental genetics, AI and robotics, human enhancement, neuroscience, end-of-life, scientific research and data protection.

Dr. Andrea PISANI TEDESCO

Dr. Pisani Tedesco is a research fellow in Comparative Private Law at the Department of Law of the University of Milan-Bicocca and works on the project: “A.I. and technological innovation: impact on legal categories and rules in a comparative perspective “.

He is a member of CELIS and secretary of the Scientific Committee since October 2021. Lawyer of the Milan Court, he deals inter alia with contracts, civil liability, medical devices. In his most recent works, he addressed the issue of the impact of Covid-19 on duration contracts and the sustainability (including social) of the various applicable remedies.
